Following the debut of the mywallet app in other properties during the last two months, the company now intends to further incorporate cashless wagering in Toledo, Dayton and Youngstown by the end of October. The app, developed in conjunction with Everi Holdings and Acres Manufacturing, is reportedly the first in Ohio to allow guests to go cardless and cashless.

Hollywood Casino Columbus in Ohio is becoming the first gambling venue in the state to launch cashless gaming, as guests attending the Penn National Gaming-owned casino will no longer need to carry credit cards or cash in order to fund their operations.

Following the launch of this technology in other Penn National properties last month, the company now intends to incorporate cashless wagering at its Hollywood properties in Toledo, Dayton and Youngstown by the end of October, reports WBNS.

The company is utilizing the mywallet app and the mychoice rewards system, which gives access to “tier status, exclusive rewards, special offers and mycash balance” all in one place and instantly, according to the product’s description.

The technology promises users to go cashless and cardless and “get connected more easily than ever before,” directly into their favorite slots. Users may buy chips or cash out at a table game by employing the app.

Moreover, guests can move funds to and from their mywallet account to their bank account, and even set up mobile and email balance alerts. Penn National Gaming further promises that, for a limited time, “there are no transaction fees.”

The Real Time Rewards, the company’s new loyalty rewards program, allows eligible members to earn and redeem mycash, the loyalty currency of mychoice, “faster than ever before.”

Members can earn mycash at over 35 mychoice destinations nationwide, including the company’s sportsbook locations, online sports betting and real money/play in online casinos. The currency can be redeemed for free play, hotel stays, dining, online casino credits, retail shopping at mychoice destinations, and at the mychoicemall.com online marketplace.

Penn National's $120 million Hollywood Casino York opened in August with this cashless and technology in place, debuting it in the state. The cutting-edge “3C” technology -cardless, cashless and contactless- has been developed in partnership with Everi Holdings and Acres Manufacturing.

“This is a revolutionary enhancement for our industry,” commented Todd George, Executive Vice President of Operations for Penn National that month. “This technology further supports Penn National’s omnichannel business approach where we are providing the best experiences, whether people are playing with us at our properties or on our numerous online offerings.”

Slot machine maker and online gaming content provider Aristocrat Leisure Ltd says it has raised approximately AUD895 million (US$674.2 million) via an institutional entitlement offer, at AUD41.85 per ordinary share. The funds will be used as part of the AUD3.9-billion cash offer for London-listed Playtech Plc, a leading gaming content provider for the online and land-based casino industries.

The offer “was strongly supported by institutional shareholders with a take-up of approximately 92 percent by eligible institutional shareholders,” stated the Australia-listed firm in a Thursday press release.

“We are delighted with the strong level of support for the entitlement offer we have received from our institutional shareholders,” said Aristocrat’s chief executive, Trevor Croker, as quoted in the release.

He added: “The acquisition continues Aristocrat’s approach of investing in medium to long-term growth and we are extremely excited by the opportunities that this will bring for our shareholders, people, customers and players.”

The company also said that the retail component of the entitlement offer will open on October 25, and close on November 8, 2021. The retail part of the offer is “expected to raise approximately AUD405 million,” taking the expected size of Aristocrat’s total equity raising to “approximately AUD1.3 billion”.

Under the overall entitlement offer, Aristocrat will issue up to just over 31.1 million new shares.

The Playtech acquisition is also to be funded with AUD1.1 billion in existing cash, and new debt consisting of a AUD2.8 billion term loan.

On Monday, Aristocrat said it expected the acquisition of Playtech to be completed in the second quarter of 2022, “subject to certain antitrust, foreign investment, gaming regulatory and financial regulatory consents and approvals being obtained.”

At the conclusion of play, the player can keep the casino chips or transfer funds directly back to the cashless Boyd Pay wallet, without ever visiting the cage.

Leading games and systems developer shows strong product investment and advancement at biggest industry event of the year

Las Vegas, NV — October 12, 2021

Konami Gaming, Inc. presented a landmark selection of casino slot games and systems technology at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas on October 5 – 7, 2021. Continuing its commitment to advance future product, Konami marked the G2E debut of four additional DIMENSION™ series slots cabinets, based on proven elements of the award-winning DIMENSION 49J™. Fresh slot content from Cash Parade™ to BattleBots® attracted attention by way of novel game mechanics, imaginative features, and expert design. Konami’s award-winning SYNKROS® casino management system stood apart for its newest cashless wagering enhancements, cardless player login options, SYNK31™ Title 31 / Anti-Money Laundering (AML) system, and enhanced Konetic™ employee mobile product which is now supported on iOS in addition to Android devices.

“Konami’s team of world-class developers continue to deliver winning advancements to the gaming floor, which is clear through our G2E 2021 line-up. Our proven DIMENSION slot hardware has grown from one machine to five unique form factors, backed by promising original series. SYNKROS is showing leading momentum in areas including cardless, cashless, Title 31 / AML compliance, and more. And Konami has historical horse racing games at G2E for the first time,” said Tom Jingoli, executive vice president & chief operating officer at Konami Gaming, Inc.

Thousands of casino executives and professionals at the Las Vegas show encountered the G2E premiere of DIMENSION TOP Box™, DIMENSION 75C™, DIMENSION 49™, and DIMENSION 27™. Along with DIMENSION 49J, each previewed winning Konami slot content such as Bull Blitz™, All Aboard Gold Express™, Cai Lai 8 Fang™, Panda Power™, and more.

“With the success of DIMENSION 49—ranked the industry’s highest performing portrait core cabinet—Konami is excited to support the market with expanding core series including everything from proven brand extensions to novel jackpot events,” said Jingoli. “On the premium side, Konami is building on the success of All Aboard with a high-denom All Aboard Gold Express, as well as the debut of Bull Blitz—another proven, player-favorite title from Konami Australia.”

Konami’s Cash Parade™ premium linked progressive was also among the show’s must-see slots, premiering on Konami’s brand-new DIMENSION TOP Box™. With a 5-reel game on the lower 27-inch display and a festive parade of lights blanketing the upper 49-inch portrait displays, Cash Parade merges a familiar spin-by-spin chase with spectacular top-screen bonuses animated across all connected machines. The series is designed with a mix of symbol-driven bonus adventures, all contingent on collecting a star in the 5th reel.

“DIMENSION TOP Box opens up new ways to deliver Konami premium content, which Cash Parade demonstrated at G2E 2021 in an unforgettable wall bank with LED animated design displays,” said Jingoli. “Our designers have invested a great deal of ingenuity and attention in Cash Parade, and we see the same in dozens of other series launching across the award-winning DIMENSION cabinet line. Konami is excited for the ongoing options and performance DIMENSION offers, and we’re committed to delivering on it daily.”

A mix of fresh casino systems technology also landed at G2E 2021, by way of SYNKROS. Konami’s award-winning casino management system premiered a number of new advancements including cashless wagering and TITO support at table games; cardless login by player phone number, QR code, and/or Near Field Communication (NFC); and new Konetic™ employee mobile features such as Jackpot processing.

“In addition to offering leading tools and feature options to our customers, SYNKROS delivers these and other enhancements through an ultra-reliable, non-forking code base system. SYNKROS properties, and their players, can access the latest cardless, cashless, and contactless conveniences, all powered by a system with 99.99% availability,” said Jingoli.

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 07, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galaxy Gaming, Inc. (OTCQB: GLXZ) (“Galaxy” or the “Company”), a developer and distributor of casino table games and enhanced systems for land-based casinos and iGaming, announced today that it entered into Settlement Agreement with its former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Robert Saucier (“Saucier”), and Triangulum Partners LLC (“Triangulum”) on October 7, 2021.

The Settlement Agreement is conditioned upon the Company paying Triangulum and Saucier $39.1 million plus interest accrued at 2% per annum from May 6, 2021, through the date of actual payment. The Company has retained Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc. to assist it in raising funds for the settlement. The Settlement Agreement allows the Company until December 31, 2021, to complete its fundraising and pay the settlement amounts to Triangulum and Saucier.

The Settlement Agreement provides broad mutual releases to the Company, the Company’s officers and directors, Triangulum and Saucier related to all claims against each other. The parties agree to stay the litigation pending payment of the settlement funds. In addition, among other terms, Saucier and Triangulum have agreed not to compete with the Company for a period of five years from the date of payment of funds.

“The execution of this Settlement Agreement is a significant development for Galaxy,” stated Mark Lipparelli, Chairman of Galaxy’s Board of Directors. “We are active in our efforts to raise the funding necessary to complete our obligations under the Agreement and will provide updates, if any, as those plans develop. Our Board believes this is an appropriate settlement of the litigation between us and Mr. Saucier and his entity. Further, we are pleased to see steady progress in the Company’s results as our casino and online gaming partners emerge from the shutdowns associated with the COVID pandemic. We are hopeful calendar year 2022 will bring continued pandemic improvements coupled with the reduction of costly litigation expenses.”

Background

On May 6, 2019, the Company redeemed the shares of its common stock held by Triangulum (an entity controlled by Saucier) by a note in the amount of $39.1 million. As required, the Company made its annual interest only payments to Triangulum. Prior to the redemption, Triangulum held approximately 58% of the Company’s outstanding common stock. Also on May 6, 2019, the Company filed a lawsuit against Triangulum and Saucier. Shortly thereafter, Triangulum and Saucier countersued the Company and certain of its board members. The redemption and the litigation are described in more detail in the Company’s periodic SEC filings.

DIMENSION slot cabinet wins gold medal in gaming industry technology awards

Las Vegas, NV — October 6, 2021

Konami Gaming, Inc. received first place for Best Slot Product in the 20th Annual Global Gaming Business (GGB) Gaming & Technology Awards. The company’s DIMENSION 49J™ video slot cabinet was selected as the game which best exemplifies a step forward in industry technology. Launched last year as the first in an entirely new line of Konami cabinets, DIMENSION 49J demonstrated rapid success with its debut series All Aboard™, ranking Top 25 Grossing Parent Games – Premium Leased & WAP for ten consecutive months by Eilers & Krejcik Gaming, LLC and Fantini Research. In that time, the proven original cabinet has expanded to five unique DIMENSION form factors, to include DIMENSION 75C™, DIMENSION TOP Box™, DIMENSION 27™, and DIMENSION 49™, ranked the industry’s #1 top performing portrait cabinet (1).

“The growth, performance, and player popularity seen from DIMENSION is a demonstration of Konami’s promise to relentlessly deliver best-in-class products,” said Steve Sutherland, president & chief executive officer at Konami Gaming, Inc. “From here in Las Vegas, to Australia, to Japan, Konami’s in-house development teams are working around the clock to bring casino players and properties the most rewarding technology and entertainment possible.”

All slot cabinets in Konami’s award-winning DIMENSION series feature a sheen silver finish, generous slant top, dual spin buttons, dual cup holders, sloped footrest, and wired and wireless phone charging. DIMENSION 49J is joined in the premium cabinet category by both the large-format, 75-inch curved screen DIMENSION 75C and the eye-catching upper portrait screen DIMENSION TOP Box. With debut series Fortune Mint™, the DIMENSION 49 portrait core cabinet has quickly risen to the top of industry performance charts, and shares the for-sale product category with Konami’s DIMENSION 27 stacked screen machine, backed by a library of 30+ available games.

“DIMENSION 49J is the start for a long line of creative game cabinets and content,” said Tom Jingoli, executive vice president & chief operating officer. “We want to see DIMENSION slots in every casino property we serve. It has both the content depth and hardware dependability.”

Bull Blitz™, Lucky Envelope™, and BattleBots® are among the newest slot series featured on DIMENSION 49J during the 2021 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) held this week in Las Vegas. Similar to Konami’s popular All Aboard, Bull Blitz is arriving to G2E Las Vegas following demonstrated success in the Australian market. Lucky Envelope is an original linked progressive inspired by the gift giving tradition common in Chinese culture. The world’s first BattleBots slots are a premium licensed series available exclusively through Konami, based on the popular robot combat sport and reality TV show broadcast in more than 150 countries.
