The acceptance follows a communication received from the Italian regulator Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli regarding the extension of the Italian Scratch & Win concession through September 30, 2028, in application of the Law Decree n. 148/2017 recently converted into law.

Lotterie Nazionali S.r.l. is required to pay an upfront fee of €800 million in three installments. The first installment of €50 million will be paid by December 15, 2017; payments of the second installment of €300 million and third installment of €450 million are expected to be made in April 2018 and October 2018, respectively. The payments are expected to be funded by the joint venture partners and pro-rated based on their respective ownership percentage. All other conditions will be the same as the original concession.

Scientific Games owns a 20 percent interest in Lotterie Nazionali S.r.l., the world’s largest instant ticket lottery, and continues to serve as the primary instant game provider for the term of the extension.

LONDON, U.K. – Nov. 13, 2017 – IGT has signed a one-year extension agreement with the Iowa Lottery to continue providing instant tickets and related services through December 31, 2018, following the expiration of IGT’s current extension with the Lottery. IGT will continue to provide a comprehensive range of instant ticket services for the Iowa Lottery under the agreement, including game planning and marketing, research and analytics, graphics support, and the production and printing of instant tickets.

IGT has been a print vendor for the Iowa Lottery since 2013. During this time, IGT and the Lottery have worked together to launch several successful tickets including $2 Triple 777, $5 Ghostbusters™, and $10 Easy Money.

Astra Games, part of NOVOMATIC UK, has signed a new distribution agreement with German-based casino equipment distributor E-Systems GmbH for the provision of Ainsworth Gaming Technology products in several European markets. The deal reaffirms the long-standing partnership between E-Systems and Ainsworth UK following the restructuring of the Ainsworth business in Europe.

Under the newly extended agreement, E-Systems, formerly known as D-Systems, will continue to provide Ainsworth products into Germany, Austria, Poland and Luxemburg, as well as to several European customers. The Ainsworth product suite includes a range of slot machines such as the A640®, A600® and A600® ST, as well as a wide selection of games and jackpot solutions.

LAS VEGAS (October 24, 2017) – Aristocrat has entered the New York video lottery terminal (VLT) gaming market, providing a range of advanced marketing solutions from its multiple award-winning Oasis 360™ system to Delaware North’s recently opened Jake’s 58 Hotel & Casino. Aristocrat also provided integration into other systems on the property.



Jake’s 58 Hotel & Casino is located adjacent to Exit 58 of the Long Island Expressway and features 1,000 VLTs as well as a 227-room hotel, off-track betting (OTB) wagering and several food and beverage options. The hotel is owned by global hospitality company Delaware North, which also manages the gaming portion of the venue for Suffolk Regional OTB.



The contract is the latest in a series of wins for Aristocrat and its broad portfolio of casino management systems solutions. 



Delaware North chose Aristocrat because, unlike competitive systems, the Oasis 360™ system is built on an open architecture, giving the Oasis 360™ system unrivaled flexibility to integrate into casino management systems of the property’s choosing.

Company Selected as Technology Partner Most Aligned with Lottery’s Vision

Scientific Games’ contract for full facility management services is structured to maximize the Kansas Lottery’s profits, driven by the Company’s advanced lottery system platform, innovative products, and marketing services. The systems implementation is planned for July 2018. The Lottery’s current systems technology has been provided by another major lottery supplier since its inception 30 years ago.

Scientific Games' slot, table and casino management systems will manage Snoqualmie Casino's 51,000-square-foot gaming floor, boasting 1,770 slots and 55 tables, replacing the current competitive system. The contract also includes the purchase of 800 gaming machine devices over the next three years and the incremental installation of 20 premium games to the casino floor.
