IGT’s Dan Farnon Honored with an Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 under 40 Award

LONDON, U.K. – Oct. 9, 2019 – International Game Technology PLC (IGT) (NYSE:IGT) announced today that Dan Farnon, IGT Director of Strategic Accounts, has been honored with an Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 under 40 Award from The Innovation Group and Global Gaming Business magazine. Farnon will be recognized at a reception on Wednesday, Oct. 16 in conjunction with the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 under 40 Award recognizes gaming industry professionals who embody leadership and have contributed above and beyond expectations in their organizations and across the industry. Farnon was recognized for his accomplishments across finance, operations, sales, marketing, and P&L
management.

Dan is responsible for leading strategic relationships with some of IGT’s largest customers across the entire business, and he has consistently driven growth year over year. Prior to this role, he held numerous leadership positions in the Company, such as Director of Strategic Business Development, where he was responsible for P&L leading inside sales, business development, and casino operations. He began his career in gaming nearly eight years ago when he joined IGT as a Financial Analysis Manager for EMEA.

Dan recently completed a highly competitive MBA program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was the youngest business leader to be accepted into the two-year program. He continued to work at IGT while traveling to and from Chicago nearly every weekend to complete his studies. He received the university’s Thomas Covert Award for being voted ‘Youngest and Brightest’ in the program.
